Why eMAR?
An eMAR is an electronic medication administration record that keeps track of administration and medication records for patients in an inpatient or outpatient setting. They are the electronic version of paper MAR charts.
It is complimentary to an EHR, filling in any gaps that an EHR system currently doesn't not have for inpatient and outpatient facilities. ​
